Project Details
Max Power Ltd. (MPL) is in the process of starting operations of a 78.5 MW gas-based power plant located at the Ghorashal power plant complex at Ghorashal, Narshindhi (Bangladesh) at a distance of approx. 50 km north-east of Dhaka.
The Project is Phase 2 of an existing gas-based power project (Phase 1) under an agreement with the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). Max Power Ltd. (MPL) was established in 2010 to build and operate Phase 1, a 78.5 MW gas-based power plant, under a 3-year rental agreement with Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) using four TM2500 mobile power generators (trailer mounted gas generators) under lease agreement with GE Rental Asset Holding (GE).
